The need for life in support of an independent and autonomous life is motivated.

Aura Habitat:

This program focuses on offering the possibility to participants of the Aura Foundation, people with intellectual disabilities, to make a stay in a standardized environment with young university students, learning to live together and take responsibility for the responsibilities involved in sharing home with other people.
The personal supports and the close monitoring of a team of professionals are offered so that the person manages the activities of the daily life in his house and the society, in conditions of well-being and security.
The need for life in support of an independent and autonomous life is motivated by:
-Continue by offering people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to live in a space for lifelong learning and autonomous coexistence, outside their family environment.
-Donating the possibility for young people with Down's syndrome and other global learning disorders that have not yet done so on the floor to take a place in a standardized environment with young university students, learning to live together and take responsibility for the responsibilities that are derived from the fact of sharing a house with other people.
-To consolidate the project as a learning experience and continue it with a more durable format for young people who have expressed their desire to live independently with the necessary support in each case.
The actors involved in this project are the beneficiaries themselves who are people with intellectual disabilities, a fixed and supportive professional, has three students of psychology, education or social work, which work partly as part of practices and partly as volunteers. In addition there is a coordinator of the Foundation.
In 2016 a new floor was created focusing on the need for a user with Down Syndrome and has begun coexistence with three more students.
